Color Of The Wind has been devastated by the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005. The devastation and aftermath takes us day by day. To overwhelming and to difficult to comprehend how fast this powerful storm directly hit Colors Of The Wind in St. Bernard Parish.  All safe storm measures are taken for each hurricane that enters the Gulf Of Mexico, but Mother Nature is greater than us and our efforts.  Sadly losing over 50 Tennessee Walking Horses, ranging from breeding Stallions, Mares and youngsters.   3 breeding stallions and one weanling filly survived and rescued to safety..

Survivors:
Pearl Jam - Perlino,  Goldlite - Palomino, Thriller's Maverick - Cremello and  Lola ~Cremello Filly.

Before the storm hit three young stallions were in training in Mississippi, and one stallion and a gelding were in training in Louisiana, they are safe and doing fine. They will be offered for sale. Please contact Lois @ 251-981-8812.

We pray that each day brings you a glimpse of courage, strength, and unity for all of us.
Our prays are with you Lois.
